EA's Fight Night 4

"Ding, Ding" to quote one of the most famous pugilist of American Pop culture, Apollo Creed. No he is not in this one. Boxing is Back and this one looks good. This is one game I personally am waiting for and it is EA Sport's latest edition to their successful boxing franchise. Featuring a re-written game play engine, EA SPORTS Fight Night Round 4 will add a variety of fighting styles and boxer differentiation to authentically emulate the greatest fighters of all time.

About the game

EA returns to the ring with this fourth entry in the boxing franchise. Featuring a re-written game play engine, Fight Night Round 4 adds a variety of fighting styles and boxer differentiation to authentically emulate the greatest fighters of all time. Pressure your opponent with the brawling inside style of young Mike Tyson, bobbing and weaving to set up powerful hooks and uppercuts. Capitalize on Muhammad Ali's reach, hand speed and fleetness of foot to bewilder your opponent with lightning fast jabs and straights from the outside. For the first time in history, Fight Night Round 4 gives you the opportunity to pit these legendary heavyweights against one another and name a true champ.

No fight will be the same with an all-new physics-based animation system that recreates the full spectrum of true-to-life punch impacts, giving boxers a devastating arsenal of punches, blocks and ring movement. The new physics system allows for missed punches, glancing punches, knockout blows and for the first time ever, rough and tumble inside fighting. Fatigue, adrenaline, footwork and timing all come into play as you hammer away at your opponents.

  • PS3 System Software Update (v4.10)
Hi, everyone. We are releasing a new system software update (v4.10) for PlayStation 3 today that will include a few minor changes that we want to make you all aware of. First off, once you download the new system software, you will be asked to accept a change to our Terms of Service. In an effort for more unity between PlayStation Network (PSN) and other Sony Entertainment Network services, your “PSN Account” will now be named “Sony Entertainment Network Account.” Please note that this change is one in name only and will not change the PSN that you know and love. You’ll still play games online, still have access to the latest downloadable games and add-ons, and still experience a wide variety of movies, sports and music across PSN. With this system software update (v4.10), we’ll also be updating the PS3 Internet Browser with improved display speed.
  • PlayStation Store Update
With great new PSN Games, the return of two PlayStation legends, great new PS3 Full Games and a stellar February kick-off for PlayStation Plus subscribers; there’s a lot to love with today’s update. New PSN Games hitting this week include Gotham City Impostors. Bringing a new style of multiplayer mayhem with a tongue-in-cheek Gotham City style, you’ll want to see what the players in the Beta have been raving about. In addition, side-scrolling action comes in two flavors this week. For brutal combat action, you’ll want to check out Shank 2. For classic four-player co-op beat em ‘ups, download The Simpsons Arcade Game.
