OH NO! Some fans of the beloved G.I Joe comic and animated TV series franchise are starting to rumble over the first look at the action figure about to hit the shelves for the upcoming movie based on the same series and comics G.I Joe: The Rise of Cobra. I have been following this movie since I found out about it about a year ago or so. But after the cool but heartless Wolverine movie and the pure action driven ala Transformers (even have the same slow motion twist to escape rocket fire coming down the street bit) trailer, I am starting to worry.  But I guess I am being hard on some of these movies and am expecting too much. I am sure G.I. Joe will be in the least entertaining and pretty damn cool to look at.

The lovable Star Wars universe is back with it's newest series; Fate of the Jedi Book 1: Outcast written by Aaron Allston. I know I was very excited about the "Book 1" part in the title and was hopeful that the latest installment would keep me on the edge of my seat the way the New Jedi Order and Vector Prime series did.

While I won't say I was disappointed by this offering I will say that I am not on the edge of my seat waiting for the next book to be released. 

Star Wars Legacy Volume 1: Broken   Since my Brother, friend and colleague Griffy has been looking for a re invigoration in his Star Wars book reading. I thought I would recommend one of my favorite Star Wars graphic novels. This is Star Wars Legacy.
